Just had a look at the race timetable for Sunday, can't see any mention of Lotus Cortina's racing, is this the case?

Yes, last year's racing was as far as I know a one off to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.

I thought I saw something about a tin-top race in the bumph Howard sent
out to me a few days ago. Whether that means L/C's, is anyones guess.

This is the line up for the weekend, the "tin tops" are BMW's and VAG's

The annual celebration of Britain's charismatic sports car and racing marque returns to Brands Hatch in August for the third year in succession and takes place on the Grand Prix circuit, scene of some of Colin Chapman's greatest triumphs.

On track there will be stunning Formula 1 demonstrations, including the screaming V8 of the Type 101, whilst on display will be the 1968 and 78 title-winning Type 49 and 79 Grand Prix cars, plus Aytron Senna's 1987 Type 99T. Other displays include an Elan M100 25th anniversary feature, the Historic Lotus Club and a show-and-shine competition. The current factory range will be on show too, with eleven Lotus dealers headlining the trade village.

The Lotusbits rally stage will feature Lotus Sunbeams, and the chance for a thrillign passenger ride, whilst there will be many classic cars on display and live music too!

A full racing programme features action from Lotus Cup UK and the Elise Trophy, plus a host of motorsport, much of which has been influenced by the legendary marque.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAIN FESTIVAL DAY IS THE SUNDAY

Hi Howard, If it's for Sunday, then yes please. I am bringing my Son and two Grandsons with me. Give it to someone else though if it means another car will be there! You have my address. See you on Saturday
