Sorry, but due to a change in plans, I won't be joining the Saturday night dinner, the piss-up and the camping. I understand that Dave (SWC) and Alan (YKK) won't be there on Saturday night either, but the three of us should be there on Sunday! Regards, Graham(139) and NAR 362 D

Hi All

I went today and would agree it was a great day and plenty to see. The auto jumble lightened me of £200 for 2 new h/lamp surrounds for my MK2 so good day alround.

Regards
Kev

It was great to see new cars and meet new faces, a very high standard of both Mk 1 and Mk 2 LCs on display. and a big thank you to everyone who made the effort to support the LCR.

This was the first time I had been to Gaydon and although it was great to see so many Lotus Cortinas in one place, and this is the main reason I went, I'm not sure Gaydon is the ideal location. Apart from the Lotus Cortinas and a nice display of early Classic/Capris there wasn't really that many other interesting cars to view. For an All Ford Rally, I would have expected to have seen a lot more Mk1/Mk2 Cortinas, Anglias, AVO Escorts etc. Where do the owners clubs of these vehicles hold their National Days and would it be worth considering joining forces with some of them to create a much larger and more interesting event for next year? Apart from Gaydon, what other All Ford rallies are held throughout the year? I know there's one at Battlesbridge. Is this worth considering? I seem to remember when the National Days were held at Mallory park, more cars came along so perhaps we should consider a change for next year. What do other members think?
