Tickets safely received, thanks Steve.
Club stand by 8.30am - with only half a dozen cars on the stand is it worth meeting up locally at 8.00am and driving in en-masse?
Can't instantly come up with an idea of where.

You could have a look at google earth/maps but parking up for a meet around CP could be tricky.

Rob , you should be able to bring the lorry into the park. There is plenty of space and thats what I'd imagine plenty of the race competitors will be doing. Failing that have a look on google for Oakfield Road SE20. Its got a few industrial estates there + its a long open road , not to busy. I'm sure you could park up there somewhere. Its only about a mile from the park.

Andy, Do you want me to pick you up?. regarding meeting up, it all depends from what direction people are coming from if it is from the south then there are places ( McDs) with car parking where we can meet and get a coffee etc on the A23 purley way, the closer you get to the Palace the less choice there is.

I've just google earthed it. Looks ideal. Only 1 mile from destination.
Looks quite a good road to leave your truck in Rob. I'll aim to be at the junction of Oakfield Road & Meaford Way outside an Esterline factory at 7.45 to 8.00am. I'll leave at 8.00 if no one else is there.

Having a good time so far 5 cars on the stand, our editor has posted a time of 45 seconds for his first practice run.

Our editor has now got his time down to 42 seconds, faster than a hot M3, well done Geoff, one more run to go.

Geoff managed just over 42 sec's on his first "real" run. His car was looking first class and sounding a treat. I've got a few seconds of video - I'll post it up when I get a chance.

Great stuff guys, thanks for your support. Managed a 42.36 run which put me 5th in class. Not only beat a hot M3 but a Ferrari also! Great fun, back tomorrow for more fun, my brother doing the driving so he's fired up to be quicker than me.
