XOO waiting patiently to be painted, goes in Apr 18. Has been chemically dipped at SPL in Dudley and then electropheretic full immersion priming. Car will be painted in Ford Blue Mink a colour I love, sorry to the purist out their as it was originally White then black then white again, so this colour change will just be another part of the cars history, plus given the acid dip process no evidence of the previous colours will be left.
The shellhad 96 hours of panel work in my place of work a BMW bodyshop in Manchester and will be a similar amount of time painting it, as I will have it painted underneath, inside and out to the same standard as the outside, and will become a trailer queen during my ownership I’m afraid.
I have no intention of ever selling the car and will become an inheritance to my three kids when I’m gone.
