Excellent event. So many cars to see I didn't even bother to watch the racing apart from the LC's race. The poor weather on Saturday was soon forgotten with the blinding weather on Sunday.

Kipping in the back of the car was not something I had planned to do and just mananed to nod off when PC Halstead decide to make a get away a 6am!!

A big thanks to all those involved with organising the event. The icing on the cake was getting 3rd place for best MK1. I'm truly chuffed and suprised. Thanks to those of you that voted. Car of the show for me was Colins red MK1. It had crowds around it all day long - and its not even finished yet.

Sir John and Jack had plenty of time for us all. The best moment for me was when Ozzy manage to convince them to put on the coppers hats and jump behind the wheel of his fantastic 4 door MK2 cop car. The car display on the period transporter that Darren and his pal origanised was a sight I'm sure we'll never see again.

I could go on and on , but I 'll let peoples pitures tell the story.

PS - any one know who actually one the cortina race?

The combined result of the two races was a win for Sean McInerney in the number 64. Andy Wolfe 13 second and Richard Meaden 63 third.

Spoke to Sean after the race and he was really pleased with the trophy Andy created and had presented by John Whitmore.

Was an amazing show, not sure what the best bit was because it all was really. Met some new people and had nice chats.

Well worth the effort to get my car there, wasn't easy! Mixing bays of concrete by hand the weekend before as the mini mix wasn't available in my area anymore, so couldn't get the car out otherwise! and then re-assembling it after work in the evenings.

Had the great chance to go on the parade lap in my cars sister thanks to Andy. Very much appreciated and a memory that will live on for a long time.

The amount of LC"s there was incredible, a sight to behold!

A big thank you to everyone to who made it all happen and every one who brought their cars!

In the 6 years I have been using this site this is the first time I have seen every one in agreement.
I also loved last week end and more importantly so did my son,in another 50 years he will be able to say I was there for the 50th watching a grid full of Lc's in the pi**ing rain with my old man,a weekend he won't forget.
A big thank you to all involved and thank you to the ladies that entertained Lewis late on Saturday night
