Just a quick update. We now have the minimum number of cars for the Sat & Sun, I will be holding applications open till the end of February for any more members that wish to attend via the club discounted scheme.

After that you can still attend if you book on your own but you may not get the same discounted price.

To all who have booked I will be in contact soon with the final prices for the dates you require including booking fee's and delivery charges for the tickets.

The entertainment provided (apart from committee members antics) will be Mike and the Mechanics playing on Friday evening, with Adam Ant headlining on Saturday Evening plus support on both nights, Alan YKK is already geared up for Sat nite with his Dandy Highwayman outfit, or was it the pirate outfit? anyway it should be a great couple of nights,

So if there are anymore wishing to join in please get in touch, ( fancy dress optional)

For all of you who have sent in there cheques for this event, they have all been processed and everything has now been booked.

For those members yet to make there minds up, tomorrow (31st March) is the last day you can get the discounted 2 for 1 tickets, and these are only available online, you will need the LCR booking code which is published in this months QB.

We have at least 18 LCs for the weekend but we will always make space for more.

well Cap'n Birdseye and the Dandy Highwayman, as you two have the furthest to come you decide on timings, can meet you at Reigate Hill and pick Andy up on the M40

I have just returned from Silverstone and have some good news and some bad.
The good news
No road works, and made good time there and back.
If we get the same pitch as last year no cars have been parked on it and the grass is still green, the same cant be said for the rest of Silverstone.

The bad news
The camp sites are mud baths, welly boots are a must
