Latest news - Entry fee is normally £10 per person , but because of the history of the Lotus Cortina racing at the palace the event organisers have offered free entry for the car driver + 1 passenger. All they ask is for a donation to the Christopher's Hospice of any amount you wish.
So come on all the members from Essex , Kent , London , Surrey and anyone else - get your names down for a free day or two out.
Does the free entry still apply if your LC is on the back of a transporter?
I don't see why not , especially with your one having a nice history. Maybe you could do a display board for it for visitors to ready up about it.
Cool, If i can sort a transporter i will be there. I would do a board like you say and include some off the press photos.
I will hopefully have it looking a bit better by then or does it not matter looking like it is?
Better still, ill drive it there, fingers crossed.....

Matt - it doesn't matter what is look like. To be honest I prefer to look at cars that are not all shiney and perfect - the more red oxide the better !!

Right - I need to get the entry form for the club stand sent off.
There is a limit of 5 cars per day. We potentially have 6 names down per day so I'll request 6 places and see what happens. Please can the people who have shown interest (below) PM me to confirm you still intend to go on the days shown and also PM me your reg number as I need it for the application
Note: You will need to be on the club stand by 8:30 am and the first sprint starts a 9am:

H Cortina – MK11 , Sunday
sprint-gt - MK11 , Sunday
Cockney - MK11 , Sunday
Alan YKK - MK1 , Sunday with car/monday maybe
Puddy - MK11, Sunday , possibly monday
Monday
Seedy – MK11 , Monday
Rick – MK1 , Monday
Rob - MK1, Monday
Cockney - MK11 - Poss Monday
Alan YKK - MK1 - Poss Monday

Andy Spain – (No Car) Sunday , Monday
Entry will be free for 1 stand car and 1 passenger. There will be a charity collection , so a small donation would be appriciated. We can sort that out nearer the time.
Additional tickets for the show are available at £8 per person per day in advance or £10 per person on the day. You should be able to buy these direct from the event organisers - just keep an eye on their website:

With a course that 600 meters equivalent to 0.37Miles long and only two runs seems to me very expensive motor sport per mile but very PC /Green.
