I am considering purchasing a second car , it’s a January 1966 but the engine and gearbox are removed and stored with several other ford engines and gearboxes , how can I identify the original engine for the car is there an engine number range I should expect , any identification clues on the block or cylinder head .
Thanks Dave

Re: Engine ID
If you PM me the chassis number of the car I can give you an estimation on what the engine number might be.
