Hi All
I’ve just received this email from the organisers of Classic Nostalgia at Shelsley Walsh
It looks like the event is being postponed until a later date

I Will update you as & when I receive further information

Curly

Good afternoon,

SHELSLEY WALSH STATEMENT – CLASSIC NOSTALGIA 20-21 JUNE 2020

Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its implications on the Midland Automobile Club (MAC)

Like many organisations, The Midland Automobile Club (MAC) is following the advice given by the Government and Motorsport UK. In a statement issued by Motorsport UK this week, they advised they will be suspending all organising permits and Certificates of Exemption until at least 30th April 2020.

Whilst this is clearly disappointing news for all our members, competitors and spectators, we think the situation is very likely to continue beyond this point and will not improve until the predicted peak of the COVID-19 infection has passed. This is in line with the recent advice given by the government’s Chief Scientific Advisor and the Chief Medical Officer. The MAC has therefore decided to put all events at the hill on hold until at least the end of June.

This will result in the cancellation of the MAC Classic and Curborough Sprint meetings and early driving school meetings. Also, the postponement of Speed Into Spring, Best of British, Classic Nostalgia and all the social events we have planned for our members. As a consequence, we are now planning a revised events schedule for the latter part of the season and will issue a further statement once these details are finalised.

Thank you for your continued support. Here’s looking forward to when can all socially integrate and celebrate once again!

Stay safe, and wishing you, your family and loved one’s good health.

With all best wishes,

Rebecca
