Give Colin Ginn a ring in Clacton as he's a Mk1 specialist 01255 475825 during office hours - he might be booked up for a while but depends how much you need it done in a hurry.

Hi we're not in the London area, we're West Midlands, we've done a couple of cars that have been sent back down your way, we did the Monaco red Mk1 GT that was at the NEC, that car is down south, we've just restored one that has been off the road for 30 years and has just gone back to Nottingham, it was a bare metal shell that had been standing for over 30 years, Andy M has just inspected this car, ask him his opinion of it. We have another 10 lotus cortinas in various states of restoration, so I think a trip to the West Midlands might just be worth while.

Hello Paw,

I have a friend in Hailsham (down in East Sussex). Exellent workmanship & a jolly descent bloke. Definitely worth a quote.

If you want an idea of what he can do, check out Peter Meyer's post in the Restoration section under the title "advice on over axle repair sections".

PM me if you want to know more.
