Leaf Springs Again

Does anybody know what rate the rear springs should be?

If Mk1 - deflection rate is 91 lb/inch according to the manual.

Thanks again Keith,does the manual quote values for the front springs on a Mk1. Rates and free lengths would be great if you have such info.

Keith,
That’s great info but I’m a bit confused. You said that the rears were 91 lb/in yet the fronts are quoted at 91 to 99 lb/in. Seems strange that they’re the same both ends.

Unfortunately it means nothing to me - I just came across it in the manuals. Perhaps someone else has some insight?
