I am confused too (but not surprised, with all the cars built up for racing that there are around) and that's why I would like to know what there is in the Register records...
P.S. Now I am a Member, I've done the online subscription, to whom I do have to ask the info?
Kind regards from Italy.

Hi MB - Thanks for joining the LCR. You need to contact forum member Rick for details about any car you own. You can see he replied to you post in this thread. Click on the PM button under his profile picture to send him a message.

Hallo Steve,
Thanks for the welcome actually I am not the owner, I am interested in buying this car for historic racing, that's why I was looking to understand a bit better its history.
I already contacted Rick with a PM, I'm waiting for his kind reply.
When I will receive my LCR membership no. and info?
kind regards,
Mauro

HI Mauro - Rick also deals with the membership numbers. He may be on holiday. Also send a PM to forum member Andy M , as he also takes care of the car details and verification etc.

For historic racing you do not actually need a genuine lotus cortina , all you need it one built to the correct spec. For that reason most on the race tracks are not genuine cars.

Thanks Steve I know this, but obviously it will be even more interesting if the car is an original one or at least if it has some history....let's see what Rick will reply to me.
Kind regards, today I posted on the LCR Facebook page an old photo of me when I won the 2008 Italian FIA Historic Championship on a friend's Lotus Cortina, hope you like it.

Thank you Rick!
Take your time, no any urgency.
There is another one racing Lotus Cortina in Italy with a strange chassis no. I will post a picture in the Forum dedicated section.
Regards, and looking forward to see what the records says.
