Just stumbled across this. Looks good for both spectators and participants.
Taking place in the beautiful Surrey Hills , between Dorking and Guildford.
Anyone up for it?

Re: Shere Hill Climb (Surrey Hills) 6th September
I looked at this event last year. Looks like a good day out but it's not a revival of a once famous hill climb so I didn't pursue the idea.
You might like to know I've entered HXD for the Firle Hill Climb on 20th September. This was a big event from 1949 'till 1967 when it was closed down after a Lotus Elan left the road and collided with a group of walkers who were sitting where they shouldn't have.
Although it's called the 'Firle Hill Climb' it's actually run (as it always was) on Bo Peep Hill which is some five miles East of Firle.
Proceeds raised will go to Chailey Heritage so it's all in a good cause. It seems they cannot charge an entry fee for spectators but ask for a small donation for entry and programme.
Hope to see some of you there?
Google Firle Hill Climb for more info.
