Le Mans Classic

Hi All,

Is anyone going down to Le Mans Classic this year.

Would be great to meet some fellow cortina owners down there or along the way.

Im planning on going down in the cortina with my brother (Porsche) catching a dover ferry out on Friday 6th July around lunch time then coming back on the monday.

We will drive from calais to le mans but not sure of the route yet

Be interested to know if anyone will be down there or is anyone has ideas about good driving routes.

Hi Chris,
Your parents must have been heavily into motoring naming your brother Porsche!

How come you were'nt called something exotic!

Hello Chris a group of us went in 2010 for the first time and it was a fanatastic trip. Took a range of classics down there and as I say we had a great trip. Going again this year traveling out Thursday AM via the tunnel and coming back Monday PM.
Staying in Leman centre and just get on the tram as and when we need to.
I wasnt brave enough to take my LC in 2010 and I am still not brave enough to take it this time. I know back in 2010 someone on the forum took his 4 door MK 2 LC, but aside from a few GT40`s there was a distinct lack of Fords.

Trust you will enjoy it and I will keep an eye out for your LC. Where are you staying ?
