When seaching for a reg on the forum do two searches , one with a space between the letters and numbers and one without.

So did this car actually make it to Sweden?

I checked the VIN at Swedish authorities and it is not registered in Sweden.
I should say it is not a good deal to buy a RHD Cortina in UK and bring it here, unless it is Mk1 LC (which we think shall be RHD).
There are Mk2´s around here and they are not impossible to find and buy. I know of 3 for sale at the moment, I have one in for respray and I have a couple of friends that got cars, I think I can count up 10 easily. The buyer of this car probably had a customer outside Sweden and traded it on.

Thanks Bertil,

Car went to Sweden and then came back within a year, so dealer's is a possibility seems a lot of car movement for a private buyer in a year.

thanks
