Do any of the scandanvian members remember a competition LC with flared wheel arches, red or purple? I was told it probably had a white cross on the roof when it was red. Probably competed back in the late 60s and early 70s.
Thanks Twink

Hi! Why scandinavian..?? There is a -63 LC in Norway that is supposed to be the one raced by Bosse Ljungfeldt in Sweden very early in 63-64...( - correct chassisnbr.) That very car was rediscovered some 20 - 25 years ago, and had at that time flared ( very !!) arches....! I do not know who put the modification on, but someone should know for sure. The same car ??

Hello Dag, I was initially told the car had Scandanavian connections, but this was a half remembered conversation from years ago! Looking back at some old notes I made, I can see that I was told it raced at Monza as well as hillclimbed, and was probably Swiss based, so maybe not Scandanavian at all
The wheelarches are not very large and are beaten from the orijinal metal. Still very distinctive though, I am sure someone will remember seeing it.
Regards Twink
